When Hearts Collide
Your heart once beat next to mine
For a moment in time
The sun set in your arms
Your cuddle, gaze, and pulling embrace
The magic you pursued in me
Set forth my admiration
Lifelong, beyond my control
The light in your eyes
As soon as we met
A glow inside both you and me
Will never fade away
Regardless of time or shade of sky
With you far away, another year
What remains is one thing
You’re my north star, my lost love
A constant spark, our soul connection
Whatever life brings in our parallel worlds
I imagine you near
It never withers, it never dies
Our spark, our souls’ reflection
When our hearts collide
